The Currituck / Corolla side of the Outer Banks already enjoys a reputation as a great wedding and honeymoon destination. - Crowds are lighter. Many of the families with school-age children have gone home, and while there are still visitors in the Currituck area you don’t get the feeling that you are crowded. There’s more room on the beach and in the stores, and some businesses do stay open past summer.
- Rentals may drop in price. With the peak season finished, many rental agencies will lower their prices to entice year round visitors. You may be able to find a good deal on a vacation cottage with a hot tub and other luxury amenities.
- There’s still plenty to do around here. If you enjoy activities together, you can play a round of golf at Holly Ridege Golf Course or The Pointe Golf Club, take an off-road Segway tour and look for Currituck’s famous wild horses, or bring your bikes and tour the area on two wheels.
- Do as little or as much as you wish. It’s your second honeymoon! Take the time to fall in love all over again before a beautiful beach sunset, and enjoy an intimate dinner for two at any of our upscale eateries.
